Country Arts SA’s next funding round closes 15 March 2010

On behalf of the South Australian and Australian Governments, Country Arts SA provides a range of grant funding to support arts and community projects that benefit regional artists, arts workers and communities.

All funding programs are designed to support community groups and individuals in regional, remote and very remote South Australia, across all art forms, enabling people to develop sustainable ideas, concepts and projects.

Communities interested in applying for a grant should be thinking about projects which are innovative, have artistic merit, build community capacity, and support social and cultural outcomes through open access for a diverse range of people and groups.

Applications are invited for the following programs supported under the Regional Arts Fund:

• New Communities Program
• Community Projects Program
• Opportunities for Regional Artists Program:
  • Category 1: Professional Development
  • Category 2: Artist Led Initiatives
• Regional Arts Partnerships Program

as well as Country Arts SA’s Arts Development Programs:

• Skills Development
• Shows on the Road Program

The next funding round closes 15 March 2010, for projects which commence from 1 July 2010. To apply for this round, applicants are encouraged to pick up a copy of the Support for the Arts Handbook from their local arts officer, or download a copy from www.countryarts.org.au
