Mundulla Netball Club 2008 Presentation Night
Players, members and supporters of the Mundulla Netball Club and their families gathered at the Mundulla Sport & Rec for the 2008 Presentation Night and Dinner on Sunday, 28th September.
President, Sarah Fryar, was MC for the evening and recounted some of the highlights of the year accompanied by a fantastic power point presentation. Sarah congratulated players, both junior and senior, coaches and umpires who had represented KNTNA this season.
Other highlights for the year included our court opening, with our A Grade challenging Kyby in a twilight match. Life member Heather Wiese officially opened the new courts along with Kylie Staude who had done the majority of the planning. Sarah also congratulated our three senior and one junior team for making the finals. Sarah thanked all the coaches and umpires for their hard work throughout the year, and on behalf of the committee, thanked the club sponsors for their support in 2008.
The night was all about our victorious 15A girls. Players of the side were presented with a premiership t shirt and congratulated by everyone that took the microphone. Coach, Di Murch spoke emotionally of her girls as they each received a coach’s gift, and standing ovation from the crowd.
