Between Friday afternoon 9th October and Saturday morning 10th October 2009 a motor cycle was stolen from Western Drive, BORDERTOWN. The motor cycle was later recovered.
Between 11.00 p.m. and 11.30 p.m. on Friday 9th October 2009 a Tatiara Tce, BORDERTOWN address had a window smashed by a water balloon. Anyone with information is urged to contact Bordertown Police on 87521355 or Bank SA Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
On Friday 9th October 2009 Bordertown Police reported a 20 year old Keith female for driving an unregistered vehicle and driving whilst disqualified. The female was issued with an on the spot fine for the expired registration, and will appear in Bordertown Magistrate’s Court at a later date in relation to driving whilst disqualified.

On Sunday 12th July 2009 a 40 year old Bordertown male was arrested for breaching his bail conditions. A 26 year old Mundulla female was also reported for aid/abet breach of bail conditions. Both will appear in the Bordertown Magistrates Court at a later date.
On Wednesday 15th July 2009 Police arrested a 29 year old Wolseley female on a first instant warrant. The female was bailed to attend Bordertown Magistrates Court at a later date.
On Wednesday 15th July 2009 Police issued an expiation notice to a 66 year old Brighton male for exceeding the speed limit and disobeying a reasonable direction. On Sunday 24 th of May, Bordertown Police arrested a 28 year old man for assault and property damage. He was charged at the Bordertown Police stationed before being released on bail.
On Wednesday 27 th of May, Bordertown Police arrested a male for a warrant and conveyed him to the Bordertown Magistrates Court to answer charges dating back to 2005.
Vehicle Fire
On Sunday 24 th of May, Padthaway CFS were called to a property on Galway Range Road after a vehicle caught on fire. No one was injured in the fire but the vehicle was destroyed.
Vandalism
On Sunday 24 th of May, at the Bordertown High School , 2 youths have damaged a surveillance camera by swinging on it repeatedly until the bracket broke. The damaged camera is estimated to cost ...

Police News 18th May 2009
On Monday 18th May 2009, Bordertown Police attended Naracoorte Road, Bordertown after trailers from two prime movers had clipped each other. The prime movers were travelling in opposite directions when the trailer of one prime mover crossed the centre line colliding with the other. There was miinor damage to both trailers, but nil injuries.
On Monday night 18th May, Bordertown Police attended an address on Salom Street, Bordertown, after a vehicle had been ‘keyed’. Police are conducting enquires, any one with information is urged to contact Bordertown Police on 87521355.
On Monday 18th May, Keith Police received a report that a shed on Memorial Ave, Keith, had been entered and a bail of recyclable cans worth $400 were taken. Some of the cans were recovered.

Timbercorp calls in administrators

Financially troubled managed investment scheme, Timbercorp, has this morning called in KordaMentha to act as voluntary administrators.
Partners of KordaMentha have also been appointed as voluntary administrators of Timbercorp's long list of subsidiaries which handle MIS farms growing almonds, avocados, citrus, grapes, timber, olives and mangoes.
In a statement to the press this morning, KordaMentha outlined Timbercorp's position as one of Australia's largest agribusiness companies, managing approximately 120,000 hectares of large-scale forestry and horticulture assets.
It says Timbercorp has invested more than $2 billion in agribusiness projects on behalf of 18,500 investors since 1992.
