The Mundulla Hall Anniversary Debutante Ball was held on Friday May 18th 2007. Sixteen debutantes and their partners were presented at 9pm to Alan and Denise Richardson, ABC regional manager and to Chris and Carlene Leach. Six weeks of training with dance instructors Colin and Gill Pride gave the couples confidence to perform their dances throughout the evening, competently moving through the Evening, King's and Lucille waltzes. Ken Roundtree and his dance band then continued to play as everyone was invited to take to the floor for such favourites as the Military Two Step, Pride of Erin and Progressive Barn Dance.

Mundulla is one of the few Upper South East towns to still retain its Deb Ball and it is well supported as a big family event. Four girls from the district who had moved away, came back especially to make their debut in their old home town.
